Do you own or manage real estate? If so, you should be aware of a cutting edge maintenance process that can save you a significant amount of time, aggravation, and of course money. You can use your hydro jetting services to maintain your sewer pipes. Some property owners and managers don’t give much thought to their sewer pipes until there are problems with and within them. However, smart property owners and managers know that they can take preventative measures in order to avoid these sewer pipe related problems.
In essence, our hydro jetting services clean your sewer pipes to the point that they have a far better chance of working they way they are supposed to. In essence, the main job of your sewer pipes is to both contain and aid the flow of raw sewage and wastewater until these hazardous materials exit the building. At that point the raw sewage and wastewater will enter into the main sewer line that is buried underground. The raw sewage and wastewater will then travel through the main sewer line until it reaches a waste treatment facility.
If your city or town is not on a public sewer system, the raw sewage and wastewater will exit the building and enter into a septic system that is typically buried underground at the property. So, what exactly is hydro jetting and how does it work? In essence, a custom hydro jetting nozzle is entered into the sewer pipes from an access point such as a drain cleanout. The nozzle is attached to a hose. A highly trained and experienced hydro jetting services technician will feed the hose through the sewer pipe.
As the hose works it’s way through the sewer pipes it sprays highly pressurized water. The hydro jetting services technician will set the water pressure level based on several factors. For example, he or she will factor in the age of the sewer pipes and the materials that the pipes were made out of. If the sewer pipes are old or made from a weaker type material they will ensure that the water pressure is set at a lower level. However, it’s a delicate balance because the water pressure needs to be high enough to get the job done correctly.
The water literally scrubs away any elements that have built up on the inside of the sewer pipe. The highly pressurized water also clears away any blockages or clogs that are happening within the sewer pipes. The water and debris then flow through the sewer pipes until it exists the property. It’s important to use our hydro jetting services on a regular basis. That way your sewer pipes will not have much of a chance of building up the debris that causes blocks and clogs.
